Summer Life at Priors Hall Park

Summer is here at Priors Hall Park

The last few weeks have been an exciting time here at Priors Hall Park. Not only have we seen the opening of our fantastic Community Centre, but the children have started off the summer holidays with a brand new Play Park.

The Pimms and Prosecco were flowing at the opening on the 21st July, with happy residents expressing their joy at the new facilities. Our Centre is already successfully booking parties and clubs via its website -

Upcoming events include the Priors Hall Festival on the 27th August starting at 12pm, which is set to be a fabulous day; come rain or shine! With live music, fun for the kids and a bar for the adults – our first festival is looking to be a fantastic event raising money for a very worthy cause. Gemma Franco, the resident who is the behind it all is overjoyed by the response of local business’ and residents “ I am so pleased to see the festival coming to life after what feels like forever. The generosity and help from residents and local business' has left me completely overwhelmed, I can't say thank you enough. The initial idea came from wanting to celebrate two very close family and friends who had lost their battle with cancer, and help support two amazing charities that have done more than I could ever thank them for - The Royal Marsden Hospital, a place very dear to me and Macmillan, who have been so supportive. The festival will be a fantastic way to celebrate life and bring our community together”. Gemma's just giving page can be found by following this link -

Updates from further afield include our Ecologist Keith, who has introduced a new resident to Priors Hall Park – this is what he had to say;

"There’s Big Bucks at PHP!

We are approaching the Fallow Deer rutting season in the park and this chap looks like he’s getting ready to take part. We don’t see many of the big stags during the summer months, they start to become more evident in late summer and I caught this one on camera earlier this week. He’s a pretty senior stag and probably weighs in at 80 to 90 Kg so don’t get is his way. Please make sure when you are driving in the area that you keep your eyes open for the deer, they don’t have third party insurance."
