PRIORS HALL PARK SPRING UPDATE ...

It’s been a longish winter here at Priors Hall Park; but the sun is out and we are looking forward to a glorious and eventful Spring and Summer.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS AT PRIORS HALL PARK

Taylor Wimpey have started work in earnest on their ‘Bluebelle’ development at Rockingham Gate. They will release house types and prices soon and we will add these to our home search when we have them. Their scheme includes 3 and 4 bedroom homes in an Arts and Crafts style.

Lodge Park are now actively marketing their development in Town Gardens. These 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes are available to view from plan at Priors Hall Park Visitor Centre in Town Gardens (postcode NN17 5EB).

The whole range of homes available on The Park can be seen here at our visitor center and the team will be able to help customers find their dream home, arrange tours of The Park and make appointments with their preferred builder.

TOWN GARDENS AMPHITHEATRE

Work is continuing on the Amphitheatre in Town Gardens. This is a focal point for The Park and its residents and when completed will perform the role for community gatherings and events.

THE LAKE AT WELDON

We’ve been very excited here at Park HQ because the main Lake at the Weldon Lakes is filling nicely and we can now see how this 8 acre feature will look when completed. When full we estimate that it will be nearly 5m deep at its centre.

PARK PLANTING

We are currently planting four thousand Lime, Beech, Hornbeam, Pear and Oak trees around the park. Our landscape architect Peter has designed a scheme that will ensure that The Park will burst into life every Spring and provide a beautiful environment for not only the people living here, but also for the local wildlife.

ROADSIDE IMPROVEMENTS

As it’s Spring we have leapt into action with our roadside plan. This includes putting in one kilometre of post and rail fencing and planting on Roads 1, 3, 7 and the Western Link Road. Although these are young trees they have transformed the scenery and, combined with the post and rail fencing, really delivers that Park feel.

PRIMARY SCHOOL UPDATE

The development of the primary school in Town Gardens is set to start in June this year. There will be some preliminary work carried out in April. The site, which is currently being used for parking by RS,
houses the current Priors Hall Park Visitor Centre. This will be replaced with a purpose built VC on a new site (to be announced).
